Privacy policy

Viral Toolkit Ltd ("we") is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are. We keep it in plain English on purpose.

What we collect

What you give us when you apply to work with us: your name, your email address, your phone number, and your answers to the application questions — where you are based, your age group, what you do, your channels and audience, and anything you choose to add.
What you send us if you email us directly.

That is the full list. This site does not use cookies, analytics scripts or advertising trackers.

What we use it for

To review your application and contact you about it. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to people who ask to work with us.
To send you occasional emails about Viral Toolkit once you have applied: what we are building, what we are learning, and early access and offers when we open something new. We do this because you have enquired about working with us, and the emails are about our own services. It is set out plainly on the application form before you apply. You can opt out at the moment you apply and at any time afterwards: every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also email us and we will take you off the list.

We never sell your information, and we never share it with anyone except the service providers below.

Where it is stored

The site is hosted with Vercel, and application data is stored with Supabase. Like almost every website, our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses, to run and secure the service. These providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards such as the UK’s data bridge or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep applications for 24 months after you apply, then delete them. If you email us a job application, we keep it for up to 12 months in case a place opens, then delete it. If you become a client, the information moves to our client records instead.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@viraltoolkit.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We are registered with the ICO under registration number ZC226981.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. If that ever changes, this page will say so first and, where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent before anything is set.

Changes to this page

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
